How do credits work?
ReverbSMS runs on a simple credit balance. $1 = 1 credit, with a $5 minimum purchase. You buy credits up front and spend them when you rent a number. Credits never expire, and you can top up at any time from the Credits page in your dashboard. We accept cards (via Stripe) and crypto.
How do I rent a phone number?
Go to Rent a Numberin your dashboard and follow the four-step wizard: choose the service you're verifying for, pick a rental type (one-time or monthly), select an available number, and confirm. The number is provisioned instantly and appears in your inbox, ready to receive SMS.
What's the difference between one-time and monthly rentals?
A one-timerental is meant for a single verification — it's active for a short window and is ideal when you just need to receive one code. A monthly (reusable) rental keeps the number for the long term, supports auto-renewal, and lets you receive messages on it repeatedly. Pick monthly if you need an ongoing number.
My verification code didn't arrive. What should I do?
Most messages land in your real-time inbox within seconds. If a code is slow to show up: confirm you entered the number correctly on the other service, wait a minute and let the inbox refresh (new messages stream in automatically), and check that the service actually sent to your number. Some services restrict the number types they accept. If nothing arrives after a few minutes, contact us and we'll investigate.
Which services are supported, and what about non-VoIP?
ReverbSMS supports 140+ verification services across categories like social, finance, e-commerce, and banking. We provide real, carrier-grade US phone numbers rather than internet/VoIP numbers, which means they pass verification on the majority of services. Compatibility can still vary by service and over time — if a specific service doesn't accept your number, reach out and we'll help.
How do I forward messages to my phone or Telegram?
Open Settings in your dashboard to set up forwarding. You can auto-forward incoming SMS to your own phone number or to Telegram. For Telegram, message our bot to get your chat ID, paste it into Settings, and enable Telegram forwarding. You can also override forwarding on a per-number basis.
What's your refund and credit policy?
Credits are purchased in advance and are generally non-refundable except where required by law, and they never expire. If you believe you were charged in error or ran into a genuine service problem, contact support and we'll review your situation. See our Terms of Service for full details.
How do I delete my account?
You can permanently delete your account and associated data from the Settingspage in your dashboard. Deletion removes your profile, numbers, and message history. If you have trouble, email us and we'll handle the request for you. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
